Этот гимн – пламенный призыв к сербскому народу: «Восстань, Сербия! Долго ты спала, во мраке лежала… Покажи Европе твое красивое лицо, светлое и веселое…». И опять – слышится упование сербского народа на Господа, от Которого Сербии «много помощи». А кто ненавидит Сербию, поется в песне, тот не боится Бога.

This hymn is a fiery appeal to the Serbian people: “Rise, Serbia! You slept for a long time, lay in darkness ... Show Europe your beautiful face, bright and cheerful ... ” And again - one hears the hope of the Serbian people in the Lord, from whom Serbia has “a lot of help”. And whoever hates Serbia is sung in a song, he is not afraid of God.
