The group was formed in 1982 in the United States by the efforts of Tony Trulio - Guitar, vocals; Matt Vinci - bass guitar; Frank Cortese - drums. Initially, the trio (called Deceiver) copied the well-known hits of English groups such as Judas Priest and Iron Maiden, and this impart a print on the band's stylistry.
Then the trio was joined by a vocalist and the second guitarist, the group took the name Liege Lord, and the independent French company Black Dragon agreed to release the debut album, "Freedom's Rise", which produced a real extension in the Heavy Metal world. After a number of changes in the composition of Liege Lord, they recorded the second album, "Burn to My Touch", in which the elements of the TZSH-METAL, although, in general, the group's stylistics in that period closer to AIDS metal with virtuoso ballad inserts.
