Մայրամուտ իջավ, պատեց սար ու ձոր,Սակայն չդադարեց կռիվն ահավոր,

Գետաշենն ընկավ հայդուկի փառքով:
Մի ասուպ սահեց, գնաց երկնակամարով,
Հավքեր եկան-անցան` լուռ արտասվելով,
Ավաղ ԹԱԹՈՒԼն էր ընկել կռվում քաջարի,
Մի լուր տարե՛ք, հավքե՛ր, մորը հայդուկի:
Էրգրի սուրբ կարոտով կամավոր դարձար,
Վասն հայրենյաց դու նահատակվեցար,
Ավաղ վերքերիդ համար չեղավ դեղ-դարման,
Թող լույս իջնի շիրմիդ ԹԱԹՈՒԼ ԿՐՊԵՅԱՆ:
Գետաշենն էլ ձեզ հետ ընկավ քաջարի,
Բախտը գետաշենցուն զարկեց ժեռ քարին,
Թէ՛ տուն, թէ՛ գերեզման մնացին գերի,
Մարեց վառվող մոմը վրան խաչքարի:
Դաշնակցութեան մարտիկ[2], ազգի քաջ զինուոր,
Մահուանդ լուրը բուժեց սրտեր բյուրաւոր,
Ձեր թափած արեան կանչը թող ապրի հաւերժ,
Ամեն հայի սրտում թող ծնի վրէժ:
