Дионис (Dionis), Бахус, Вакх, в греческой мифологии бог плодоносящих сил земли, растительности, виноградарства и виноделия. Божество восточного (фракийского и лидийско-фригийского) происхождения, распространившееся в Греции сравнительно поздно и с большим трудом утвердившееся там. Дионис как божество земледельческого круга, связанное со стихийными силами земли, постоянно противопоставляется Аполлону – как прежде всего божеству родовой аристократии.
Аркадия (Arcadia), область в Пелопоннесе (Греция), традиционный фон древнегреческих пасторалей и идиллий. В переносном значении употребляется как обозначение "страны счастья, радости".
Пан (Pan), в греческой мифологии божество стад, лесов и полей. Пан наделён ярко выраженными хтоническими чертами, выявляющимися как в происхождении Пана, так и в его облике.
