L.D. 50 (рус. смертельная дозировка для 50 человек из 100) Первый студийный альбом американской метал группы Mudvayne вышедший 22 августа 2000 года на лейбле Epic Records. альбом был продюсирован GGGArth, Mudvayne, Стивом Ричардсом и музыкантом-перкуссионистом из группы "Slipknot" Шоном КрэханомДля записи альбома «L.D. 50» музыканты отправились в Ванкувер, где поступили в распоряжение Гарта Ричардсона, известного своей работой с «Kittie» и «Rage against the machine».
Материал для песен этой пластинки был навеян фильмом Стенли Кубрика «Космическая одиссея 2001». Процесс записи продвигался очень напряженно, но ребята потрудились на славу, и это по достоинству было оценено публикой. Альбом дебютировал на 113-й позиции чартов «Billboard», а некоторое время спустя его тираж перевалил за полумиллионную отметку. «Mudvayne» совершили глобальное турне по Штатам в компании с коллегами по цеху «Slipknot», что добавило им очередную порцию популярности. Кстати в сценическом имидже группа была похожа на слипкнотовцев своим агрессивным макияжем и причудливыми костюмами.

L.D. 50 (Russian lethal dosage for 50 out of 100 people) The first studio album of the American metal band Mudvayne released on August 22, 2000 via Epic Records. the album was produced by GGGArth, Mudvayne, Steve Richards and percussionist Slipknot Sean CrahanTo record the album “L.D. 50 ”, the musicians traveled to Vancouver, where they became available to Garth Richardson, known for his work with Kittie and Rage against the machine.
The material for the songs on this record was inspired by Stanley Kubrick’s film “Space Odyssey 2001”. The recording process was moving very hard, but the guys did a great job, and this was appreciated by the public. The album debuted at 113th position on the Billboard charts, and some time later its circulation exceeded the half-million mark. Mudvayne made a global tour of the United States with company colleagues Slipknot, adding another batch of popularity to them. By the way, in the stage image, the group was similar to Slipknotovites with its aggressive makeup and fancy costumes.
