Название этой германской группы происходит от сочетания "MAXimum eXtasy". В её составе сначала был рэппер Gary Brokoe и вокалистка Alice Montana. Впервые группа появилась на Euro Dance арене в 1994 году с двумя крупными хитами "Get-A-Way" и "No more (I can't stand it)", сразу же взлетевшими во всех чартах. Сингл "Get-A-Way" в Германии был продан более чем 400 000 копий и стал золотым, был №5 в Британии, а всего в мире было продано более 1.1 млн. его копий. The name of this Germanic group comes from the combination "MAXimum eXtasy". At first, it included rapper Gary Brokoe and vocalist Alice Montana. The group first appeared on the Euro Dance arena in 1994 with two major hits "Get-A-Way" and "No more (I can't stand it)", which immediately took off in all the charts. The single "Get-A-Way" in Germany sold over 400,000 copies and went gold, was # 5 in Britain and sold over 1.1 million copies worldwide. However, after the release of the single "Get-A-Way", vocalist Alice Montana left the band and was replaced by Linda Meek.
