Так же, как и на прошлых двух альбомах, на «Technical Ecstasy» простые и короткие песни, такие, как «Rock 'N' Roll Doctor», контрастируют с более продолжительными и сложными песнями, такими, как «You Won’t Change Me» и «Dirty Women». Исходный материал был несколько подпорчен неважным продюсированием, и поэтому не смог повторить коммерческого успеха своего предшественника, альбома «Sabotage».

In the music plan, the disk is the further development of the musical ideas of the guitarist and the main composer of the group of Tony IiMimi. Just like on the past two albums, on the "Technical Ecstasy" simple and short songs, such as Rock 'N' Roll Doctor, contrast with more prolonged and complex songs, such as "You Won't Change Me "And" Dirty Women ". The source material was somewhat sought up with an exemplary producing, and therefore could not repeat the commercial success of his predecessor, the album "Sabotage".
Nevertheless, in part thanks to beautiful songs, and in part thanks to the BLACK Sabbath loudsome name, this album was stably sold and eventually received his "platinum" in the UK and Gold in the United States. "Technical Ecstasy" reached the 13th place in the Hit-parade of the UK and the 51st place in the charts of the American magazine "Billboard".
The cover of the album was issued by the studio "Hipgnosis" and wondered as a picture of two robots engaged in sex.
