в какое сравнение не шли с неистовой реакцией на эту небольшую и довольно
причудливую вещицу, вышедшую из-под пера Джона Леннона. "Я совершенно осознанно
творил стихи", - отметил он, свалив вину за строчку о "газетных такси" на своего
номинального соавтора. Тем не менее считалось, что фантазия в стиле "Алисы в
стране чудес", скорее всего, навеянная впечатлениями от рисунка сына Джона -
Джулиана, который тот принес из детсада, вызвана наркотиками. Эта гипотеза
окончательно утвердилась в массовом сознании после того, как один наблюдательный
поклонник счел, что подтверждение ее кроется в аббревиатуре названия песни
(LSD), но это отрицалось Ленноном до самой смерти. Джон сделал в своей жизни так
много признаний, что у него вряд ли были причины обманывать публику, тем более

Some passions that flared up about the interpretation of the previous composition, neither
compared to the violent reaction to this small and rather
a bizarre little thing from the pen of John Lennon. "I am perfectly aware
