Вдруг явилось Солнце, Солнце золотое – ясные лучи.
В мир явилось светом, озаряя души, спящие в ночи.
Мир упал в рыданьи, слезы покаянья наземь уронил,

Чтобы жить как жабам, тихо наслаждаясь вкусом червяка,
Чтобы меньше думать, чтобы не искали в жизни Маяка.
Чтобы не стремились за сияньем света Бога понимать,
Чтобы не любили, чтобы позабыли боли сострадать.
Где такие дали, где такие земли, где развеян мрак?
Где у злого ветра парус оборвался, тряпкою обмяк?
Где просветы чисты, где глаза открыты, уши слышат Глас?
Где маяк-светильник в человечьих душах вовсе не погас?
Там средь звездной сферы и миров бескрайних непрестанный зов
Душу упокоит, и любовь расплавит тяжести оков.
Там обремененный думами исканья счастлив человек,
Там труды, страданья, страстные желанья твой создали Крест.
Там уже во Славе, Светом нареченный, Сам Господь грядет.
Время исчезает, все остановило свой ужасный ход.
