До чего же невыносимо
Видеть ход вещей наперед!
Бесполезно учить чему-то -
Все уйдет, как вода в песок.
Бесполезно считать минуты -
Все исполнится точно в срок,
Все исполнится неизбежно:
Взят. К злодеям причтен. Распят.
А соратники безмятежны!
А сподвижники сладко спят!
И пока в тишине звенящей
Был слышен доспехов звон,
Все слова о какой-то чаше
Повторял беспрестанно Он.
Только нет в небесах ответа,
Ни движенья, ни звука нет.
Лишь мгновенья бегут, и это
Было принято как ответ.
У пророка одна дорога.
Суд над нею - лишь Высший Суд.
И осталось ему немного -
Слава Богу, уже идут.
